Remember the Name: Nerlens Noel

Nerlens Noel is a 6-foot-10 center from the Tilton School and is from Everette, Mass. He is in the 2013 class and is already a highly touted player who is known for his defense and shot blocking ability. He cleans up the glass well and finishes strong in the paint. He is a bit lean and could use some more bulk but he is being sought after by the biggest programs including Kentucky, Syracuse, Providence, Pittsburgh, Florida, and UConn.

Remember the Name: Jared Terrell

Jared Terrell is a high rising 6'3 shooting guard from Weymouth High school in Mass. He plays hard on both ends of the court, can create his own shot with a tremendous first step, and has great ball handling skills. He needs to work on his jump shooting and when and where to pass or shoot. He is in the 2014 class and still has time to mature his game. He is climbing up the recruiting charts with Wake Forest, B.C., Providence, West Virginia, Arizona, Cincinnati, Memphis, Washington, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Syracuse, UMass, and UConn all paying close attention.

Remember the Name: Clyde Smith

Clyde Smith is a 6-foot-2 and 175 pound shooting guard that has the ability to develop into a solid point guard. This Houston, New York native now living in Lakeville, Connecticut has always possessed a long ranged game but has improved his ball handling and can attack off the dribble or come off screens. The only downside is that he does everything well but isn’t dominant in one aspect yet. He started turning some heads while playing for the New Heights program, leading them to three titles and a run to the Final Four and earned MVP in the NYC Summer Classic. He is considering ND, Northwestern, Oklahoma State, and BU. Whatever school that Smith chooses, they will get a solid guard with tremendous upside.

Meet Kris Dunn

Kris Dunn is a 6-foot-3 and 180 pound combo guard that led his New London High School to a perfect season and State Title, earning the Registar State Player of the Year. He has great length and shoots well off the catch and the dribble. He is becoming a great defender and shattered his high school’s steals record. His decision making and confidence is the only thing lacking from this rising star. He is working on his left hand more and wants to work on when and where he should take the mid-ranged shot. He is a versatile player saying, “I think I’m a combo guard…I also think that I can play the three, because I like to rebound…” He also compares himself to a Rajon Rondo because of this oversized hands. His coach, Craig Parker said, “Kris only plays one way…hard.”
